Noricum Hornet GT5
the new era of GT racing
built hard, built for Victory, pure drivers machine, sharp and precise, ready to tackle the GT4 class across different European GT and Endurance series.
THE CONCEPT
started back in 2019 when we have developed our Hornet GT5 Gen1 car, homologated as FIA E2-SH, built especially for endurance racing. The idea was to build a lightweight entry-level GT car, running close behind the very popular GT4 class cars. 210hp and 840kg made a beautiful piece of machinery.
7 years later, the name remains – GT5 but we have decided to go few steps up. Our Noricum Hornet GT5 Gen2 car is set to debut September 2026. GT5 version with its 280hp and 720kg is at the level of GT4 cars. GT5-R version, coming September this year, with its 360hp, 720kg and active aerodynamics is much closer to GT3 class cars and will be aimed to compete in endurance events.
Why the GT5 then? Well we are a bit smaller in size, a bit less power and a lot less weight.
